In all aspects of care, we prioritize the safety and comfort of our patients, and as part of our commitment to upholding the highest standards, our center at Azad Plastic Surgery has been accredited by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities, Inc. (AAAASF).
The Gold Standard in Accreditation, AAAASF (‘Quad A’), must meet the following standards:
- The surgery center must meet all standards required of a hospital.
- The facility must meet high safety standards regarding medical equipment, medication, and the facility’s environment as a whole.
- The plastic surgeon must be Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
- The plastic surgeon must have hospital privileges for all the procedures he wishes to perform in the onsite facility.
- When deep anesthesia is performed, an anesthesia professional must be present.
- The facility must be peer-reviewed and collect all surgical data required for proper evaluation.
